Cancer Risk in Childhood Cancer Survivors (CRICCS) is a collaborative population-based project funded by Children with Cancer UK. The project was launched on 2 November 2020.
In the CRICCS study, we set out to evaluate how many childhood cancer survivors there are in Europe and how we can pinpoint the underlying causes of the second cancers. This research can be usefully supported by population-based cancer registries, which routinely collect information on patients with childhood cancer.
This study is being conducted in collaboration with registries, researchers, clinicians, and representatives of survivors and parents who participate in the CRICCS Consortium.
